Coach Greg Tonjes - is a United States Air Force Veteran and has been a Head Football Coach and Offensive Coordinator for over 20 years. Coach Tonjes is also the son of an Air Force Veteran and B-52 Pilot for over 25 years. Coach Tonjes has coached 20 seasons in Texas, Louisiana, California, Arizona and North Carolina. Coach Tonjes was last hired to be the Head Coach at Kearny High School in San Diego in 2020. But in 2020 all youth sports were banned in the State of California and no games were played due to the pandemic. While coaching High School and Youth Football, Coach Tonjes has compiled a 134-58 career record with 10 playoff appearances, 10 championship games coached with 3 championships won. Coach Tonjes also volunteered to be President of many youth football organizations and has organized and held many youth football camps in all five states that he has coached in. Coach Tonjes also has been a top performing sales manager in the Automotive Industry for 13 years. He is currently a Sales Manager at Nashville Toyota North in Madison, Tennessee. The Coach was educated at Wichita State University, The United States Air Force, The College of Southern Nevada and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth, Texas. The Coach loves to attend all sporting events, thinks stadium food is the greatest food in the world, he still believes he can make the PGA Tour playing golf regularly and loves to travel but he says he will never fly on a plane again.
